Wishing a friend Peace

This gorgeous stamp set is from Mark's Finest Papers.  The clear cling stamps are very good quality.  They stamped very sharp images as you can see.

My tag background paper I colored myself.  I really like to use the spritz mists to color my own paper.  This one I used started as white shimmer paper.  After spraying green and golden yellow, I used my brayer to blend them together.  Then took water & dropped on top & lightly dabbed with paper towel.  I used EK Success corner punch, then back it on black card stock.

 The cherry blossoms I stamped with black stazon on top of another piece of paper I sprayed with pink mist.  To show more depth, I used a white gel pen on the tips of the front flowers & smudged it with my finger.  Added a small amount of green marker to the leaves & smudged with my finger.

I printed a saying from Marilyn Monroe and added to the inside of my card. I'm entering my card in MFP Speedy TV in the sketch with a twist challenge.  Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you are having a great weekend!

As usual-I've done a vintage card. I used a digi image from Nice Crane Designs.  She's making a pie.  Reminded me of Thanksgiving.

WAW #45 Commit to the Lord

Happy Wednesday!  I hope & pray your week is going well.  This week @ Word Art Wednesday our scripture comes from Proverbs 16:3.

Remember: everything we do- we should do as unto the Lord.  When we commit our lives and actions to the Lord-our hearts will follow.  Our light shines as we stay determined to please God & not men.  Our scripture this week tell us it is so.

I've taken my image from Nice Crane Designs.  Called Our Village DSL.

I have colored her with pencils. The details in the image is superb!
My paper is from Colorbok: Fleamarket
Added some vintage lace & flowers from Wild orchid.

Nice Crane Designs NEW Team member!!

 

Used a SU Christmas Tree stamp & stamped it on green cardstock using CHLOROX. Pour some on a papertowel folded in a container. Then I sponged distress ink over top of a snowflake die.

Then I took a white gel pen and outlined the snowflake on the whole sheet.  I used the background paper on the card below.

I have truly exciting news-I'm a new member of the Nice Crane Designs team!!  They have the most AWESOME images.  You are going to LOVE them as much as I do.

 I colored my cow with aqua pen & water color paints.  The cow bell has some metallic acyclic paint on it.  Matted her on Bella Blvd paper -added a summer bloom from Wild Orchid Flowers & the tiny butterfly from SU die.

 I distressed the edge of my background paper using my scissors & distress ink.  I hand wrote my sentimnt & backed it with a SU frame die.

Our Free Word art this week is AWESOME!  Check out the font.  Very eye catching. 

I've meditated on this verse all week. We love him. We love him. I love him.

Vintage Christmas @ MM#257

 Mojo Monday #257-The layers are the key.  I started with a sentiment circle from Nice Crane Designs. I colored in my partridge with pencils, sponged Tim Holtz distress ink (berry & brown) and then taped on top of green designer paper. 

I used 2 Christmas designer papers left over from last year. Added strips of matching green, beige & black in the middle.  I had a beige snowflake. I sponged the same distress inks on it, embossed with SU Iridescent Ice & added to the corners.  Tied a knot in some Raffia & glued it on.
