Different techniques card challenge

I love having a card sketch to create a card.
This is my card from Mojo Monday Card sketch.

I used Stampin Up stamp set, a watercolor piece from stash and a white cardstock run through a Stampin up folder for the background.
Used a Stampin up dies for the images.
The 2nd background is watercolor.
When you use a black cardstock to back your layers, they really POP!

The colors are my favorites!!  Purples!!

Texture, stamping, washi tape=Special Card!

I so love having a sketch to start me off on making a card. Check out Mojo Monday for the sketch.
I end up using my stash to fit the design.
The brown background paper was run through Big Shot with an embossing folder. Then I rubbed gold distress paint on stop of the design-that's what you see (similar to little crosses)
I've had that designer paper forever and glad to be able to use it. I punched the circle and stamped the little bird and inked the edges.  You can't see the washi tape, but the top one says praise! I love it and used is as the background for the small sentiments I stamped and fussy cut.
I'm always needing "thinking of you" cards.

This will go into my stack-ready to send.

Mojo Monday is back!!!! Challenge 506

Mojo Monday is back!!  I LOVE their sketches!  Here's the challenge.
I used Barn Door distress ink and stamped the floral stamp from Simon Says Stamp. It's one of my new favorite. The sentiment and the single flower stamp is also from that same set.

I thank Julee Tilman wit4h Poetic Artistry for bringing it back!!

DecoArt Americana Paint is best for Gelli Prints

I love making gelli prints.  I've used a variety of types of paints.  The best I've found is DecoArt Americana Acrylic Paints.  The consistency of the paint is perfect for spreading on the gelli plate.

On all the background gelli prints I used DecoArt Jacobean Floral stencil and the following Americana paint: Autumn Red, Antique Rose, Cadmium Yellow, and Moon Yellow. I changed which order I was putting them on the plate.

This first one I embellished with Unity Stamps I'm so Happy and

Ribbon by Really Reasonable Ribbon.

New Dawn Rooster by Unity Stamps and Wild Orchid Flowers.

This last card-you can really tell how using numerous gelli prints together is like having matching designer paper!!  Except you created it yourself!

The sentiment is from Unity Stamps, flowers from Wild Orchid and Flourishes.

I hope you're inspired to design your own cards. Everyone loves getting a handmade card!

RRR and Mojo Monday Challenge

G
Grandparents Day is Sunday.  Here are some cards I made for orders.

This first one features Really Reasonable ribbon.  I love this material-it makes into bows really nicely and it's a great width. Their challenge is something with wings and ribbon/trim.
I followed the sketch at Mojo Monday challenge # 414

I've used Wild Orchid Flowers on all three cards and Heartfelt Creations designer paper.

Fluid Art with DecoArt Interference Paint
