Stamp N Doodle has a challenge of using fabric this week.
I covered a piece of card stock and made it the front & back of my journal.
I've used a Stamp N Doodle image on the front.  Beautiful horses. The sentiment is from MFP & Stamps Wild Horses.
Embellishments: Really Reasonable ribbon & Kraft brads.
The inside & backside panel I stamped with Wild Horses from MFP & stamps.
Had a really great time making this journal.  I hope you'll join my DT @ http://stamp-n-doodle.blogspot.com/  Add your project so you can put entered to win a prize.

The horse image can be found at http://www.stamp-n-doodle.com/
I colored them in with pencils.  I got the sentiment from Mark's Finet Paper & Stamps.
This is the inside cover. I sued crumb cake SU paper. Stamped horse with stazon ink and the trees with momento pistachio ink.

I hope you'll check out our challenge blog and participate in the challenge so you could be a winner.

WAW 51 Where are your treasures being stored?

This week at Word Art Wednesday one of our sponsors provided us with a digi image
newrfbadge
I cut mine out and added it to a fabric background with dimensionals.
I stamped the crumb cake background with a flourish stamp from SU using crumb cake ink.
The die cut I stamped the sentiment with staz on black ink.

Here's the inside of my card. Used SU Christmas sentiment and manger image.

*************************************************
Are you storing up treasure where it counts?
Where do your treasures lie--in your earthly possessions, which might be stolen or lost at any time, or in heaven, where they will never be destroyed? Put value in things that will last, not in fleeting material possessions.
***************************************************

I made a second card featuring  Our Word Art for the week.
My image is from Nice Crane Designs

My sweet little girl comes precolored.  You just decide how you want to use her.

MFP #17 You Crack Me Up!

I'm a guest designer this month @ MFP Speedy TV
on the challenge Sketch with a Twist. Hosted by Karen Letchworth

Sketch Challenge #17
Twist:  Use 3 stamps
I used MFP Stamp set Crack Me Up.
I stamped the cherry cobbler with the cracked wall stamp, the butterfly was stamped and then fussy cut and popped up with dimensionals, the sentiments are both in the stamp set.

I covered a piece of cardstock with a piece of material from Stampin Up.  The newsprint is from DCWV Haberdash. I cut all the background pieces with pinking sheers.
If you'll use Staz on with your sentiments, it shows up so crisp.
I used the flower punches from SU & took sharp nosed tweezers & twisted them.

If chosen, you can win one of their stamp sets.  So here's the link with all the rules and linky:

Anything Goes @ Stamp N Doodle

Anything Goes this week!!
This week at Stamp N Doodle we are using images by Lauren Curtis.
I printed my image on SU Crumb Cake CS.
I colored mine with SU watercolor crayons.  I embossed the image outside the frame with SU iridescent ice.  The key to coloring with pencils is to go back when your done with a black fine tip pen to highlight the outlines.
I used glossy accents to glue my vintage lace on the edges.  For the inside I die cut the white CS & layered it on a piece of coordinating designer paper & put a verse from Mark's Finest Paper & Stamps Poinsettia stamp set.

I hope you'll jump over to our challenge site so you can win a prize: http://stamp-n-doodle.blogspot.com/

WAW50 Blessings from God

I love this name for God, "Father of lights"
To me, light represents everything pure, clean & perfect.
Who wouldn't want to know him? Serve him? Trust him?
God has RICHLY blessed my family & I. He has ALWAYS provided our every need & most of our wants. I have ALWAYS known I could put my faith in him.  He has never let me down.

I've just gotten this stamp set from Mark's Finest Paper & Stamps. I thought this verse went so well with it.  I colored it with watercolor pencils. I punched the corners and embossed them in gold. I think they look awesome with the bow.
This is the inside of my card.  I'm definitely using the scripture on more Christmas cards.
My paper is from DCWV Haberdash.

If you haven't ever used scripture on your cards-I hope this inspires you!  You can get any of our featured scripture for FREE.  We have 2 awesome Word Artists that provide us weekly with a new one.
My design team always has something new & fresh to share.  Be sure & check them out as well.

See our main blog @ http://perfectsentimentschallenge.blogspot.com for complete information about the blog hop.

My background paper is Stampin Up & it started out craft color & it comes already embossed.  When I rubbed distress ink over it the embossed part pops out!  So cool.  So I have flowers in the background.  Then I simply printed my sentiment for Microsoft word, cut & matted it.  The dove and cream poinsettia is from K and Company.  My brad is from Lost and Found.  Ribbon: Stampin Up gross grain.
