It;s been a while since I've had time to participate in some challenges. I was blown away by my new Unity Stamps! Been looking forward to making some cards with them.   

Let me introduce you to: Indie Girl by Unity Stamps.

I used Lost and Found Portobello Road designer paper.  It seemed to match the challenge going on at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.  
Look at these beautiful colors!
 
I added some beautiful Wild Orchid flowers and trim.  Which fits perfectly with the Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge! #144 Summer Flowers

For some added dimension, I added some Liquid Pearls Bisque and Pearl.

I've also followed the Sketch from Mojo Monday challenge. #455 Challenge

3 Special Lady Cards for Simons Wednesday Challenge

Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge is to do a Lady/Girly project.

It just so happens I had an order for 3 girl cards. 

This first one was for a lady turning 70.  I found my inspiration on Pinterest.

I normally don't do white. I feel like I can't stay clean enough. I usually have ink/paint on me. But the card on Pinterest (found at docrafts.com) really intrigued me. Used my Silhouette, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, Stampin Up flower punch, Wild Orchid silver pearls and a Stampin Up stamp sentiment.

 This second card was for a 16 yr old who likes camo and trucks. This was the hardest one!  I printed some camo print (by Shelia Reid at pixelscrap.com) onto red cardstock for the background.  The truck and sentiment is an old Stampin Up set.  I white embossed the sentiment.  Colored the truck with Stampin Up watercolor pencils. Punched the flowers (SU) and edged them with Ranger Picket Fence distress paint.

 This 3rd card is for an eleven year old that loves Paris, American Girls and her favorite color is purple.  This was the easiest one!! I love using my Wild Orchid Flower stash.
My background was created digitally using pages from pixelscrapper.com and Photoshop.  The sentiment is stamped from Glitz Stamps.  The girl is Prima.

 Is that enough inspiration for one day??  I hope you liked at least one of them!!

Assembly line Christmas Cards with digital images

 

Put together Christmas cards quickly.

I started with my digital images from Altered Pages. After printing and trimming them, I made mats to fit and card bases. Stacked them up-ready to produce!!

I got our the Christmas embellishments I might want to use.

 Have two favorite background stamps to jazz the plain cardstock up.  Then I got started!

 Below are just two examples of the beautiful cards that came out of my day of card making. There's no way I could post them all!

 These two images came from the collage sheet "Blue Christmas" I just love the vintage feel of them.

Entering Simon Says Christmas/Holiday Challenge.

I hope this will help you during this busy time to be able to get some cards done without stressing too bad!!  People secretly love receiving a handmade card.  I love having the time this year to do them.

Take the time to share Christ in the simple things you do for people this Christmas season.
God was thinking of us when he sent his one and only child to be born in this sinful world and then be crucified for OUR SINS. If you've never accepted Christ as your Savior-do it today!!  Celebrate his birth in true Child of God fashion this year!

Happy Birthday with Simon Wednesday Challenge

I made two cards for the Simon Wednesday Challenge.

We're to use kraft cardstock and they are featuring Memory Box products.

 

On both cards I used Martha Steward & Stampin Up Butterflys

 

 The one below I used Stampin Up hexagon die.
