Christmas in JULY! PSC42

Christmas in July
Are you ready?
I thought it would be hard-but it was easy.  A friend gave me this Stampin Up stamp & I haven't used it.  Distressing is still my fav -so I used some Tim Holtz distress ink.

I bet it will be easy for you too!  Jump over to our blog:  The Perfect Sentiment Challenge and enter your Christmas Card.  I colored my image with colored pencils.
My Design team on my right side bar have loads of inspiration.

You can win a digi deisgn from Pattie's Creations

or be chosen in our top 3

Never Never Never give up-WAW

Have you ever felt like giving up?  Sure-everyone has. Life is challenging and the going gets tough.
God says: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
Galatians 6:8-10
We are given a promise from God that if we persevere & don't give up we'll REAP A HARVVEST! When life seems the most challenging-that's when we need to dig our heels in & trust God!

I hope you'll jump over to our blog: Word Art Wednesday and play with us this week.  We always have FREE WORD ART.  This quote from Winston Churchill is our feature this week.

Please go by my design teams blogs & see how they've incorporated this weeks Word Art.

Anything goes @ PSC41

Happy Wednesday!  It's hot & humid here-just like summer.   Looking forward to some cooler temps.

We have a new sponsor & the twist this week is if you use one of our Sponsor's stamps-you get entered twice for the prize!

See the The Perfect Sentiment Challenge for details of the prize & rules.

You'll also find our wonderful design team's creations!  They have created a wide variety of items.  I also have them listed on my right side bar.

Here's what I did for the Anything Goes PSC41 Challenge:

I've bee wanting to decorate these cute little bags for some time.  I ran across this baby wrapping paper & decided to fussy cut some of the images out. The stork & clouds.  I used a Lost & Found Brad with my ribbon & congrats banner.  So simple & I loved upcycling the bag & the wrapping paper.  I mostly give gift cards, so this is going to work real well!

Thanks for stopping by & I hope you'll enter our challenge this week to get qualified for the fantastic prize from Avocado Arts!

WAW Eye on the Sparrow

Bible Gateway is my favorite website to check out scripture. When I typed in sparrow-I found more than one scripture.

Matthew 10:29
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.

Matthew 10:31
So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Luke 12:6
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.
 Luke 12:7
Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

We don't have to wonder how priceless we are to God. He tells us over & over how he keeps us with us in every aspect of our life.  How comforting to know-he's always there for us.

This week @ Word Art Wednesday our FREE word art is:

I've incorporated my word art on a mini album I'm working on.
All the Designer Paper & the bird punch is from Stamping Up.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Roses.

To make this mini album I followed Elsie @ justafewdesigns.blogspot.com. It is the best way to use doublesided paper I've ever seen.  I hope you'll check it out.
This weekend I'll get to work on the fun part-embellishing!

We have a very talented design team.  They can show you more ways to use the FREE word art. If you click on the names on my left sidebar -it will take you to their blog.  OR you can find each one @ our challenge blog Word Art Wednesday.

I hope you'll join us this week.  You could win a PRIZE!  Our sponsor this week is Detailed For You

PSC40 Isaiah 40:31

I've loved using scripture on my cards and layouts.  This week our challenge @ Perfect Sentiments is to use your favorite scripture or quote.

 Isaiah 40:31

but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Soaring on the wings of eagles-up above the world so high like an angel in the sky
Run & not grow weary-sail right thru and keep up the good fight
walk & not be faint-consistent to the end

To me it's an important promise from God-  No matter how bad our circumstances, whatever we're going thru-we can put our trust & hope in God. He's the one thing in this crazy world that will forever remain the same.

This week @ Perfect Sentiments Challenge our challenge is to use your favorite scripture
the twist is to incorporate this sketch:

Tim Holtz paper, raffia, button, pearls & computer printed scripture-Easy!

Our sponsor this week is:

One winner will receive a free digi from Shelly's Images.
Our design team will also vote on  the top 3 cards for the Perfect 3 badge.

Please visit our design team listed on my right side for even more inspiration.
I encourage you to use God's word to uplift others in your card making.  It''s meant a lot to me and I know whoever receives your encouraging words will love it!

Word Art Wednesday Adorable!

2 page layout inspired by Becky Fleck @ Page Maps. Paper is The Colorbok.
I'm featuring our Word Art Scripture on this layout..  Children are at peace. They trust their mom and dad to take care of them. That's when we can have true Peace-when we allow our Father to be in the lead of our life.
I love how when we follow the Lord & make him Lord of our life-he teaches us what we need to know in our daily life. Until we give our life to him completely will we get to experience the peace that passes understanding.

I hope you'll be inspired by the scripture this week to design your own layout, card.

You'll find lots more inspiration from our Design team @ Word Art Wednesday. You'll see some amazing women.

Our sponsor is Whimsy Stamps

Thanks For stopping.  I want to see your creation. Be sure & link up at Word Art Wednesday.\
