Acrylic watercolor background painting

They picked out their own picture to paint.  Was an easy one to draw for them.  

I wanted to do a watercolor technique for the background.  Worked out well for my practice piece, but we didn't have any outlets to plug in dryers at the restaurant when the group got together.  We did the best we could-still got some awesome effects.

We used Social Art Acrylic paints.

Painted Shells with Media Fluid Acrylic by Decoart

While at the beach, I picked up some nice shells.  When they are on the beach and wet, they look beautiful, then when you get them home, several of them looked grey.  I wanted to create something so I could see the shells.  I had this big C that I've been wanting to decorate, so I thought I'd put the shells on it.  But, I wanted some color.  I broke out my Media Fluid Acrylic paints. Stuck with Cadmium Red, Orange and Yellow.

I think it turned out great!  

The Decoart Media Fluid paints covered the shells with one coat. It dried quickly making this project simple and fast. I hot glued the shells on and put a finishing coat of Satin varnish.

Mother's Day with Cricut and Designer Paper

I used my Cricut machine, Designer paper, Wild Orchid flowers, Stampin up Die Cuts.

They all turned out great!!!

Easter bunnies with Social Art Networking

My family and I went on vacation and I took the supplies needed for us to paint the Easter Bunny!  The Social Networking picture was perfect for my 5 and 7 year old grand kids!  My youngest, 18 months, I painted and added his feet and hands to complete the bunny.

Easter is coming up.  It's really not about bunnies and eggs, but about Jesus and the sacrifice he made being crucified on the cross for our sins!  No one else loves us as much as God!  He sent His son-Jesus to earth to die on die on the cross for OUR sins!
