Flowers are probably my favorite embellishment. I've tried many ways to make them. Wild Orchid sells them already made-they are gorgeous. They also sell layers. Here's a picture of the package I used to make my flowers.

Stamp N Doodle-No Embellishments
This is my last week on Stamp N Doodle design team. I've gotten to work with a lot of fabulous digital images. I want to thank Lynne Crosskill for having me.
Please check out her amazing online store Stamp N Doodle.
This weeks challenge is NO Embellishments.
I though that would be difficult, but I had recently done this background using a stencil and distress inks. Thought it would be perfect with Lynne's digi.
I colored the image with Prisma pencils and fussy cut it out.
I really love how it looks.
I hope you'll feel inspired to join in our challenge and check out Stamp N Doodle store.
Have a wonderful day!

Moxie Fab goes Watercolor!
As soon as I saw
I knew I was in!
I just learned this technique from my Stampin Up demonstrator.
First you emboss the flowers with white emboss powder.
Using magic markers, you make a few lines in the flower, then blend out with a blender pen.
Makes it look like watercolor paint!

Mojo Monday 289-Thank you
God's word has never been more alive and relevant. The name of the study is A Woman's Heart God's Dwelling place.
I heartily recommend it to anyone interested in drawing closer to God. I needed a thank you card for the husband of my growth group leader. He's provided our group with the most amazing pastries and coffee cakes for our 10 week class.
I turned to my favorite place for a sketch: Mojo Monday
Here's the sketch:
Here's my card.
I combined paper from Haberdash and colorbok. Needed it to look manly. Love how it turned out.
BIG thanks & hugs to Michael for providing delicious items for the ladies every week. BIGGER thanks to our leader Jeannine! It's been a fabulous 10 weeks.

Christ is the key
Altered Composition Book
Featuring Lauren Curtis digital image that you can find at
To stick it on the composition book I used score tape. I colored the image with Prisma Colored pencils.
The center strip is a piece of brown card stock. I cut down each side with decorative scissors, rubbed gesso on the edges, then sponged Tim Holtz distress ink over that. Then I ran it thru my Big Shot inside a sizzlet folder.
To make my key, I hand drew one, traced it two more times. Fussy cut them out, glued together with glossy accents. I embossed it twice in silver. I roughed it up a little with sand paper and then rubbed distress ink all over it.
This is the inside front and rear cover. Used My Mind's Eye paper.

To add interest and whimsy, I used an assortment of stamps, ink and markers to jazz them up.
I love how it turned out.

WAW Challenge #74
You can get FREE Word Art every week at Word Art Wednesday.
I haven't done one of their challenges in a long time. I miss using scripture every week.
First, I printed the scripture on cream colored card stock. Then I embossed my angel stamp in Bridal Emboss powder. Added some seam binding, a couple of Wild Orchid flowers.
Here's a close up of the embossed angel. I rubbed several distress inks over top of it to highlight the details.
You can get the LeBlanch Angel stamp, Tim Holtz distress ink, seam binding and embossing powder at Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium where the prices are always 20-25% off!
I'm also entering Simon Says Stamp challenge: Anything goes
