Father Christmas Paint Class
My new favorite painting by Social Networking: Father Christmas!
He's vintage looking with the teal and golds. Just makes you happy looking at him! And did we have fun painting!!
The gals were concentrating----HARD! LOL! They had plenty of laughs and jokes too.
Their finished product was amazing!! We figured out if we ran our finger around the edge with Phat-lo green-we got an extra POP of pizzaz!
Here's my other two painters!!
Thanks ladies for a great afternoon of fun!!
If you've never went to a class, I hope you'll try a painting class soon!!
DecoArt Brush Cleaner
I teach paint classes and use my set of 20 Social Networking brushes a lot! I clean them after each class-you know with soap and water. But every once in a while, I send them to the spa!!
I soap them overnight in DecoArt Brush and Stencil Cleaner.
What's the difference you ask?
The cleaner totally reconditions the bristles and they are soft and flexible as the first time you used them when they are washed and dried!
You've got to get some today!!

#internationalArt Mixed Media Gift Bag with video
It's been a while since I have been able to participate with the Art Collaberation group I'm a member in. This month we were to do our art inspired by an International artist. I chose Picasso. I was inspired by his cubism period.
I used DecoArt stencil Dangles and Americana acrylic paint on my gelli plate.
Here's the YouTube video n how I created these bags.

Christmas Tag /Rebecca Baer Stencil
I know it's October, but it's time to get started on Christmas tags!!!
Here's my first one for the year!
I started the base of the tag using my gelli plate and Rebecca Baer's 5.75x5.75 Cascade stencil . I used Naphtali red on top of the stencil, pulled stencil off and let the paint dry. Then added the butterscotch color and pulled the print on the tag.
I used Deco Art Americana acrylic paint-totally awesome for gelli prints!
I embellished the tag with Wild Orchid flowers, Really Reasonable lace, Unity stamp image and sentiment.
