PSC14: Sympathy Challenge

Are you ready for an inspiring challenge?  We have one this week @ Perfect Sentiments

We're doing a Sympathy Sentiment using the following picture for inspiration:

The stillness of the photograph really struck me. The starkness of the white and the way the trees stand underneath strong & holding the weight of the ice & snow.

I started my card with a navy blue cardstock. My designer paper was from Stampin Up. I took Stampin up dazzlin diamonds and went over several of the limbs on my paper. My sentiment came from Recollections. I made the flower with my cricut and edged it with dazzling diamonds.

What's Better Than a Card? A Grand-Baby!!

My grand baby has arrived!  She was born 1/6/12 (on  her due date!) @ 10:52 PM. She weighed 7 pds & 14 oz.  She was 20 3/4 inches long. Her name is Brianna Lynn Conner.  Isn't she the most beautiful baby alive??!!

LOVE the lips I cut with my cricut & then I coated it with glossy accent. So sexy!!

After much prayer and 2 different designs, I was lead to rip designer paper, distress it and make it into a path leading into the mountains. I always want to follow the footsteps of Jesus. Wherever they lead. As you can see my path leads around the bend of the mountain-you can't see where you'll end up.  It's called FAITH.  Lots of times in life we have to just have faith and we'll always come out on the right side of the mountain.
