Merry Christmas @ Party Time Tuesday

Are you almost ready for Christmas?? You don't have many days left!

Today is a new weekly challenge at Party Time Tuesday.

I've made another Christmas card to send. I used a digital page from Heather Hudson. She is sponsoring our challenge this week.  So you may win your own digital image!
I chose the Santa one because it had a vintage feel.
Finished-it's a 5x5 card. I had to do very little to enhance this gorgeous card front. I added some vintage trim at the bottom and some yellow rhinestones to the tree for ornaments. A little metal flower is the tree topper.  The words came with the collage sheet. I added glossy accents to them after cutting them out.
VIOLA'
A beautiful card. Quick and easy.

Stacked Pumpkins Class

Fall is in the air!  The painters were excited to paint this great 16x20 Social Art-networking Design!  The did a fabulous job!  They learned how to use their paintbrushes to create thin lines as well as thick ones.  Dry-brushing technique.  The #2 round brush is perfect for the vines surrounding the bottom of the pumpkins.

We had some first timers and some seasoned painters. Everyone had a great time!

Happy Birthday with Paper Artsy stamps/masking

I was inspired by the current challenge at Paper Artsy-masking.  I've created this card using a different kind of masking. I brayed paint onto my gelli plate and this pushed the Paper Artsy flower stamps into the paint. Then I pulled the print. Wow!! The stamp pulled the paint off creating a negative space. I hightlighted the stamps with watercolor pencils. Did some additional stamping with Paper Artsy vine, then stamped The Happy Birthday sentiment from Stampin Up.  Added 3 die cut flowers on top with dimensional s to finish the card. I LOVE how it turned out!! I hope this inspires you!!!

Christmas Canister-Recycled with Deco Art

I had a small coffee canister and immediately knew I had to alter it! Does that happen to you? I used some new products from Deco Arts. Their Metallic Wax Finish covered the slick surface of the canister. See the tutorial at the end of the post. Want to get in on a challenge with some prizes?? Check it out at Party Time Tuesdays!
**I tried several adhesives in order to glue down embellishments on this wax product. E6000 is the only one that I finally got to work.
